DUBAI – Egyptian-American comedian and satirist Bassem Youssef will return to Dubai for a solo live performance on 16th November 2025 at the Coca-Cola Arena.

Organised by entertainment company Blu Blood in partnership with Dubai Calendar, the show will be delivered in English, promising an evening of laughter and storytelling.

Who is Bassem Youssef?

A former heart surgeon in Cairo, Youssef’s career took a dramatic turn during the Arab Spring when he became the host of AlBernameg, the largest political satire show in the Arab world. Following the cancellation of his show due to political pressure, he moved to the United States and established himself as an international comedic voice.

Known as “The Egyptian Jon Stewart,” Youssef has performed across the US and UK, delighting audiences with sharp wit and dark humour. His viral interview with Piers Morgan on the Israel-Gaza conflict in October 2023 has amassed more than 23 million views, making it the most-watched segment on Piers Morgan Uncensored since the show’s launch.

What to expect

In Bassem Youssef Live, audiences can look forward to reflections on cultural identity, resilience, and everyday absurdities. Over the past two years, Youssef’s tour has taken him from the inaugural Abu Dhabi Comedy Week to packed theatres worldwide. He has also appeared in hit shows including Mo on Netflix, Ramy on Hulu, and Upload on Prime Video.

Tickets for the Dubai performance start at Dh180 and are available through the official Blu Blood website.
